I maschi misurano fino a 17,5 mm e le femmine fino a 23,9 mm.
Diffusione
È endemico a Cuba. I suoi habitat naturalisono foreste e fiumi di pianura umida subtropicale o tropicale. È minacciato dalla perdita dell'habitat.
